CREDA

CREDA (Centro de Investigación en Economía y Desarrollo Agroalimentario) is a research foundation born out of the need to formalise a Catalan research and development organisation in the agri-food sector, unifying and strengthening R&D capabilities and making these capabilities available to governments, as well as to the public and private sector.

The centre aims to contribute to the adaptation of the agri-food sector to current developments from the perspective of the agricultural economy. Its work covers three main areas: competitiveness of the agri-food sector, natural resources and sustainability, and agri-food consultancy.

With a solid track record, the enterprise stands out for its extensive experience and active participation in projects financed by the European Union, national calls for proposals and consultancy projects for the Generalitat de Catalunya and various local councils.
