INNOVASTURIAS

Innovasturias is an Asturian cluster founded in 1998, recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as an Innovative Business Grouping. This non-profit association has dedicated 25 years to the promotion of innovation culture, consolidating itself as an active meeting and collaboration centre for all the key agents in the field of innovation, including companies, public administrations, universities and society in general.

Throughout its history, Innovasturias has brought together more than 200 companies and institutions that share a firm commitment to collaboration and the development of innovative initiatives. These entities work together to promote and disseminate the culture of innovation, integrating it as an essential element in the daily activity of the region's business fabric.

The cluster not only acts as a catalyst for innovative projects, but also promotes the transfer of knowledge and technology, organises training and networking events, and participates in projects at both national and international level. In this way, Innovasturias contributes significantly to the strengthening of the innovative ecosystem in Asturias, positioning the region as a benchmark in the adoption and promotion of advanced business practices that favour sustainable economic development.

CREDA

CREDA (Centro de Investigación en Economía y Desarrollo Agroalimentario) is a research foundation born out of the need to formalise a Catalan research and development organisation in the agri-food sector, unifying and strengthening R&D capabilities and making these capabilities available to governments, as well as to the public and private sector.

CREDA aims to contribute to the adaptation of the agri-food sector to current developments from the perspective of the agricultural economy. Its work covers three main areas: competitiveness of the agri-food sector, natural resources and sustainability, and agri-food consultancy.

With a solid track record, CREDA stands out for its extensive experience and active participation in projects financed by the European Union, national calls for proposals and consultancy projects for the Generalitat de Catalunya and various local councils.

 

CREDA

ASINCAR

ASINCAR is an organisation in the agri-food sector in Asturias that performs 3 different functions: association, cluster and technology centre. It was created in 1977 as an association of meat industries to bring together small producers in order to provide them with protection, legal advice and visibility.

In 2006, ASINCAR was recognised as an agri-food cluster, and in this capacity represents more than 95 companies from across the food value chain. Its role as a cluster includes acting as a facilitator of cutting-edge technological approaches and strategies, connecting the sector's stakeholders with the latest innovations. ASINCAR not only transmits this knowledge, but also supports its implementation in the agri-food industry.

In 2011, ASINCAR achieved the status of technology centre, enabling it to promote and develop new technological solutions to address the current needs of the agri-food industry. With solid experience in research and development, ASINCAR currently manages 51 active R&D projects.

In addition to its strategic functions, ASINCAR offers a wide range of services to its members and other companies in the sector. It has a food analysis laboratory specialised in microbiology and physicochemical properties, as well as a pilot plant that simulates a real food industry. These facilities are essential for the training of personnel, the development of R&D activities, and the provision of technical and technological assistance.

ASINCAR also has extensive experience in European funding programmes, with 13 ongoing projects, and actively participates in calls for programmes such as Erasmus+, Life and others at national and regional level.

ABAMOBILE

ABAMOBILE is a company specialising in software development, focused exclusively on mobile applications and enterprise mobility projects. With more than a decade of experience, its team creates high quality mobile applications using technologies such as NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, Beacons, QR codes and BLE. ABAMOBILE focuses on smart devices, including wearables, smart glasses and smart TVs, with a mission to provide businesses with tools that improve process, sales and service efficiency. ABAMOBILE drives innovation through active participation in R&D projects. It works globally, from Asturias to the whole world, and its applications are currently available in 16 countries.

CIS Robotics Robotics is a company dedicated to developing robots that meet the real needs of its customers, addressing challenges that deliver value. CIS Robotics helps its customers improve their processes, increase efficiency and enhance the safety of their operations, putting the customer at the centre of everything. Leveraging their expertise in industrial environments, they imagine and create solutions that really work.

CIS Robotics offers services such as the development of pipeline robots, customised robots and versatile drones for various functions, using advanced technology that provides accurate and diverse data.

MASYMAS

Hijos de Luis Rodríguez, S.A., known as masymas supermercados, es una empresa familiar asturiana dedicada a la distribución de productos de gran consumo. Con 54 supermercados en Asturias y León, 4 centros MyCash, más de 72 franquicias en varias regiones y una plantilla de más de 1700 personas, masymas apuesta por productos de proximidad y el desarrollo de productores locales, ofreciendo productos frescos y saludables con mínimo impacto ambiental.
